Criminal conduct by Eli Lilly costs them 1.42 Billion

Here is a report on the criminal conduct of Eli Lilly and how much it is costing them. But why aren't we seeing the people who did it prosecuted and thrown in jail? Well, let's hope someone in authority decides soon that it's time to put these criminals behind bars.

Format Change

I hope the blog's format change is to your liking. The old format was okay but a little dark and too thin for the average video. To post a video I had to modify the width and height so it fit into the skinny left hand column. With the new format all that is ancient history and the default width for YouTube videos is no problem.

They are vital to us all. Without them we are not free, there is no justice, we cannot speak our mind, we can be starved, we can be controlled against our will and worse. Yet many people have no idea what Human Rights are.

So what are Human Rights? Where did the idea come from? What do they have to do with you and your everyday life?

The end of the world is ... not

Well, 6pm on May the 21st, 2011 has come and gone and we are still here. Just in case the end really was on the way my wife and I had a really good lunch and then went shopping in the afternoon. After all, when you only have a few hours left you have to make the most of it.

But all joking aside, it sort of amazes me that so many people actually want the world to end. Is this world so bad that the apocalypse is to be so desired? I know it's not perfect but whatever the bad conditions, we can do something about it and make some improvement. Personally I enjoy my life, my family, my friends, my possessions, mankind, the birds, the animals, even (some of) the insects. To me the world is what we make it, so if you are dissatisfied, do something about it.
