The Dianetics Racing Team
The link above is to a cool story about a new addition to NASCAR, the Dianetics Racing Team. I've met the driver, Kenton Gray, and I have to say he is extremely enthusiastic about racing. Good luck to him in the coming season!

Human Rights Workshop
As anyone who follows this blog will know, Scientologists are not only interested in Human Rights but we actively promote them and the Church runs probably the largest Human Rights educational program in the world.
As part of taking responsibility for Human Rights around the world the Church of Scientology European Office for Public Affairs & Human Rights often sponsors Human Rights events. One such was the recent Workshop On Human Rights In Bulgaria.

Happy Birthday Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health
The book that started it all was Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, published on May 9th, 1950. It was the breakthroughs introduced in this book and the application of those breakthroughs that made it a best seller and brought people by the score knocking on L. Ron Hubbard's door wanting to know more. Further developments and discoveries using the techniques of Dianetics then led to the development of Scientology.
Now, 56 years later, as I told you yesterday, the book is still a best seller. It's not surprising when you consider that despite the huge changes in technology and advances in other scientific fields people are still trying to solve the same problems. Well, the solution has been around for 56 years and is still totally applicable today.
The books covers:

- The real reason for unexplained pains, negative emotions and unhappy relationships in your life.
- Exactly what is destroying your belief in yourself and how Dianetics helps you get rid of it so you become more you;
- The precise technology that blows away the barriers in your life - forever.

Dianetics still as popular as ever
After 56 years, the book that started it all, "Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health" is still as popular as ever: With 56th Anniversary Nearing, Dianetics Speeds toward 22 Million in Sales.
I first came across the book in 1977. I read it and it made so much sense that at first I thought, "well, isn't this what they do in psychology?" A friend who had a degree in psychology explained to me how psychology had no clue what the mind was and was basically a matter of passing fads: Today it's "penis envy" tomorrow it's "a chemical imbalance" and the day after it's "potty training". I was at university at the time and I recall asking another student who was studying psychology about that subject, "It's alright if you like electrocuting rats," was his only comment.
So my viewpoint on Dianetics changed and I paid more attention to it. After I received some Dianetic counseling myself I was convinced: This stuff works! So on the anniversary of the book (which is tomorrow, May 9th), do yourself a favor, get the book, read it and then use it!
