The Church of Scientology Proclamation on Religion, Human Rights and Society

It is rare indeed that a religion insists on the right of a person to change their mind about their religious belief, but The Church of Scientology does just that in its "Church of Scientology Proclamation on Religion, Human Rights and Society"

This is a document well worth studying and following as it promotes the ideas of tolerance and human rights for all.

Kindness

It sometimes seems like we should be nasty to others. Someone is forever screwing up and you've tried to explain to them how to do it properly but they just don't seem to get it. Is it now time for you to yell at them? Will that stop them from messing up?

The answer lies in a short essay: Scientology philosophy: essay on Kindness by L. Ron Hubbard. It answers many questions.

Scientology And Help

It's sometimes hard to quickly and simply describe Scientology. It's rather like trying to describe quantum mechanics in a paragraph.

But one thing you can say quickly and simply is that it is a subject containing many ways to successfully help people and one of the easiest ways to do it is with assists for injury and illness.

Human Rights

I think the best definition I've ever seen of human rights is this one: "The very basis of human rights is freedom from false accusation and from brutality and punishment without offense." ~ L. Ron Hubbard.

Just apply this definitions to any human rights or even civil rights abuse and you can see how it applies. For example, racial discrimination is a false accusation that one race is "inferior" to another.
