Scientology: Does your religion encourage you to keep a particular day of the week "holy"? If so, how do you do that? Or is this not important?

Steph asked: Does your religion encourage you to keep a particular day of the week "holy"? If so, how do you do that? Or is this not important?

No. There is no holy day of the week in Scientology.

Scientologists I know usually follow the traditions in which they were raised.

I choose to believe in God. I see God everywhere, in all things, as part of the make up of the universe. Every day is holy, every day is a chance to live as ethically and honorably as you can. That's how I live. Since the creationist 7th day is not an aspect of our religion, and the active Scientologist spends far more than one day a week at church, this is usually a moot point. If you're not actively at church - you can still attend a Sunday service - not mandatory - usually an uplifting reading and a closing prayer. I love them.
